Cathelicidin Antimicrobial Peptide · Human CAMP
Human cathelicidin-derived antimicrobial peptide. Studied in immune defense, wound healing, and anti-biofilm research models.
LL-37 is the only human cathelicidin, a 37-amino acid cationic antimicrobial peptide derived from hCAP-18. It disrupts bacterial membranes, has antiviral and antifungal properties, and plays key roles in innate immunity. Research has expanded to wound healing acceleration, anti-biofilm activity, and immunomodulatory pathway studies.
Store lyophilized at -20°C. Reconstitute in sterile water. Use within 2 weeks refrigerated — sensitive to repeated freeze-thaw.
