Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly · Pineal Tetrapeptide
Pineal tetrapeptide. Studied in telomerase activation and cellular aging models.
Epithalon (Epitalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) developed from research at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology. Research by Khavinson et al. (2003) demonstrated telomerase activation in human somatic cells in vitro, resulting in telomere elongation and extended cellular replication capacity.
Store lyophilized at -20°C. Reconstituted in BAC water: 2–8°C, use within 4–6 weeks.
